Part 1 -August 15th, 5-8pm

Part 2 - August 22nd, 5-8pm

I am so very excited to collaborate with artist and noted ceramics instructor Faryn Fee in creating a two part clay experience "Venus in the Mud" as the next “Art is Life!” session.

During the first of this two-part session Faryn will guide us as we work solely with clay, listening with our hands as we make forms as unique as we are.

I will guide the second session which will consist of decorating the now fired pieces* with as many or as little of the wonderful elements available in my studio- acrylic paints, iridescent paints, jewels, and glitter. You are also welcome to bring in decorative items that speak to you.

As always no experience is necessary and all the materials are provided

*Please note: we will not be using traditional ceramic glaze to “paint” the pieces but will use acrylic paint instead. We’re happy to share our thoughts about the decision to do it this way!

The sessions will be limited to 8 people

(Friday traffic is often an issue, please arrive promptly!)

About both sessions: Clay, a myriad of adornments, tasty beverages, organic wine, and dinner featuring organic salad, and our favorite pizzas from Tina's Pizza in Carpinteria are all included for both dates of this immersive, meditative, and playful experience.

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days and shipped worldwide. Once dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking link. Delivery times may vary depending on your location.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in original packaging. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and return fees may apply unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

To preserve the beauty and longevity of your artwork and stone pieces, keep them away from direct sunlight, humidity, and extreme temperature changes. Paintings should be displayed in stable environments, while stone items like sculptures, vases, and busts are best placed on secure, level surfaces.

Handle all pieces with care using clean, dry hands, and avoid contact with liquids or harsh chemicals. For maintenance, gently dust surfaces with a soft cloth. Proper care will help maintain the color, texture, and integrity of each piece for years to come.

Each piece is carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery. Paintings are protected with durable layers and secure framing materials, while stone objects are wrapped with reinforced cushioning to prevent damage during transit.

We take extra care in preparing every order, so your piece arrives in perfect condition, ready to display.
